Through movies and posters, society has portrayed cowboys as macho, tough, and disrespectful. The tales of ruthless lives and exciting gun fights deceive others to believe cowboys are savages. Ehrlich disagrees with society, she believes cowboys are, compassionate, and hard-working. Ehrlich tone is warm and confident when she describes the cowboys.
